I believe that Jack Markell is the change-agent that Delaware needs during these challenging times. Having known Jack for many years, I find him to be a true leader and a man of integrity. I also appreciate Jack’s ability and willingness to tackle the tough issues facing the First State. In these difficult times, it is imperative that we elect leaders who are innovative thinkers, good listeners, decisive, and results-oriented. Jack has clearly demonstrated these essential leadership qualities.
Having a proven track record as State Treasurer for the past ten years combined with a successful business background, Jack is poised to make the necessary changes to improve the quality of life for all Delawareans. What I admire most about Jack is his courage to take a stand and do what he believes is right, even in the face of adversity. Jack demonstrated his courage and determination during the recent democratic primary race for governor. Jack made a decision, put a plan in action, and achieved the desired results. I would like to see Jack bring that same dedication and persistence to the Governor’s office.
I encourage you to read Jack’s “Blueprint for Delaware,” available through Jack’s website at www.markell.org. It is a well thought out plan that outlines how Jack would address key State challenges such as growing the economy, producing sustainable renewable energy, strengthening public education, and providing equal access to affordable health care. It is time for Delaware to move in a new direction. Jack has my vote to lead the way!
