I work in Georgetown and I can actually say that I don't feel safe with the G-Town Police Dept.
I witnessed a crime and and it took two calls and 10 minutes later to respond to the accident.
Than about 8 police cars showed up. It just doesn't make sense.
All the talk about profiling, I can say it's true. When I called the 911 dispatcher they asked me if the victim was; hispanic, white or black. What does that have to do with anything. I was very upset with that comment.
I have to keep my doors locked at my work place because I don't feel safe. |
