Lewes, DE - The Department of Transportation’s (DelDOT) Maintenance crews will close a portion of Beaver Dam Road between Indian Mission Road and Stockley Road near Lewes for the replacement of a crossroad pipe.
The closure is expected to take place at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22. The road will reopen on or before 3 p.m. on Friday, March 4, pending weather.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Southbound: Beaver Dam Road to Stockley Road onto Coolspring Road to Route 5 to Hollyville Road and return to Beaver Dam Road
Northbound: Beaver Dam Road to Indian Mission Road onto Route 5 to Coolspring Road to Stockley Road and back to Beaver Dam Road
Access to local residents and emergency response vehicles will be provided at all times.
