As tropical storm Emily approaches east coast this weekend, FEMA encourages residents to be prepared
Washington, DC - In advance of Tropical Storm Emily moving toward parts of southern Florida this weekend, FEMA is encouraging residents along the Florida and the East Coast to monitor the storm's developing track and get ready for potential heavy rains, wind and other severe weather. Watchdog calls for investigation into Delaware mystery corporation's million dollar PAC donation
Washington, DC — Campaign finance watchdog Public Campaign Action Fund called on Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden to investigate whether wealthy donors are illegally exploiting Delaware law to fund political committees upon news reports that a company registered in Delaware seemingly for the sole purpose of making a $1 million donation to a Mitt Romney-aligned super PAC, Restore Our Future.

Today is the Flag Day
On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress adopted by resolution the design for our National Colors. In 1916 President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation declaring June 14, 1916 as “Flag Day”. Subsequently, June 14th was permanently established as “Flag Day” on an annual basis by an Act of Congress.
