Man stabbed in the area of North Railroad Ave., Georgetown
March 11, 2009 - The Georgetown Police Department is investigating an incident that has left a Georgetown resident seriously injured. Officers were dispatched to the area of North Railroad Ave. for what appears to be a botched robbery. The victim, Merito Galvez-Roblero, was walking to his residence at around 9:40 P.M., when he was confronted by a lone assailant who, without warning, stabbed him in the chest with a knife.
